Only my 2nd time writing a review,and believe me I watch a lot of movies.
Lulu Jones steals the movie pretty much playing superbly 'Becky' who has recently lost her mum. Her dad takes her up to a presumably secondary family home (which we don't get to hear background of,only for her to be told it wasn't to be going up for to her delight. her happiness is short-lived when her dad tells her he is to remarry and like any teenager doesn't take it too well and storms off.
Unbeknown to all there are a band of escaped inmates who are more than keen to find a key (not sure what key is for,maybe I missed that small part. br>
The bunch of escapees find themselves at this family home and tell Becky's father of why they are there (poor excuse though about losing your br>
The deaths shown in this film are although not unique,but are certain something to keep eager gore fans more than happy,bravely done by what we believe is a 13 year old certainly found more than one use for contents of her pencil case genious ! loved don't even get me started on 'poor' baddie who couldn't swim after being sent flying into small lake,another nice finish for any bloodhounds amongst us.
Not giving much else away,I want you to enjoy this movie as much as I just did,just to say I'd much prefer to have Becky as a friend rather than enemy.
Obviously the ringleader was spared justice until last and oh yeah he got his just deserts alright.
Almost felt sorry in a funny kind of way for 'Apex' one of band of misfits (he actually had some feelings and shown them,much to annoyance of # 1 badguy) letting her guy after capturing her and again helping her when caught up with main man once more.
If you are after a blood splatter gore fest with no story line whatsoever,and heaping of sex/nudity I'm sorry you won't find it in this you WILL see is 93 minutes (seemed way shorter to me) that had me hooked within first 10 as credits rolled I only wished there had been a 'bigger breakout of inmates' as a pose to 4 that 7 or 8 (the holding truck certainly could hold more than it was carrying as prisoners were being transferred. I'm pretty damn sure Becky could have dispatched of each in her own ways. br>
I look forward to seeing more of Lulu Jones in near future films I believe we have not seen the best of her by a long way.
